Oh no. Going out is not the problem. The dog and I have been out lots. This snow has changed from quiet dry powder to a thick layer of ice on top of dry powder. It's like walking on broken pottery shards. Poor Mollie can't even figure out where to do her business. It is not pretty to do donuts in. Sheets of ice. I did leave the house today however. And I loaned my shovel to the neighbor who can't get up the driveway because it's a sheet of ice at the moment. It's been nutty.
I used to write stories with my pictures on flickr account until a friend suggested I start a blog. With reluctance, I did it. There's no theme, really. I like taking pictures. I keep hoping to get good at it. I like nerdy history things. I like nerdy science things to boot. I'm a (really) novice bird watcher, but I'm learning more every day. I hate shoes. I know this is not a feminine thing to say, but I can't help it. I would like to save the planet and photograph all the forgotten cemeteries in my spare time. Oh, and it would be really fun to open a goat dairy, if I could figure out how to do this without getting smelly. That's all I can think of right now. Oh, and all comments are welcome...

Ok sister. Just breathe. In out. In out. Now. This is a good opportunity for you to experience Colorado like weather.
A test if you will.
Bundle up, go out.
Revel.
Take a drive around the block.
Find an empty parking lot and do donuts.
You can survive this.
